BIO

Alexandra Muresan was born in 1985 in Cluj Napoca, where she lives and works.

Research:

After graduating in Philosophy, Alexandra Muresan, born in 1985 in Cluj Napoca, where she lives and works, obtained the diploma, the master and then the PhD in Design, specializing in Ceramics-Glass-Metal at the University of Art and Design in Cluj Napoca.

Finalist and winner of prizes, she was selected among the artists of the Biennale of Young Artists of Monza 2015, Alexandra Muresan develops a research of great charm, speaking through an ancient and precious technique, that of glass. The young artist works with this material and with the support of metal meshes, renewing this technique and demonstrating its modernity.

The intent is to develop a personal and recognizable language through the making of the glassy forms and germinating works, where nature becomes artifice and vice versa, in a panta rei whenever of surprising beauty.
