BIO

Born in 1989, in Kalisz, Michal maka is a polish painter that deals with painting, printmaking, photography, street art, painting the outside. He usually work with techniques of hand-cut stencils applied with spray paint.

The paintings are important for the artist to reflections on the human condition and the modern world. The need to protest against double standards, sensationalism, media manipulation - stems from his relationship to the world – he considers himself a pacifist.

2018 - Award of the President of the City of Kalisz for achievements in the field of artistic creation in the 2017/2018 cultural season.

2017- Scholarship of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Province in the field of culture.

2016 - Nationwide competition for the design and construction of a mural on the building of the Art Department of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn – First place (implementation in 2018), Poland.

2016, 2013 - ARS UNIVERSITATIS - honorary distinction in the 16th plastic art competition, Kalisz, Poland.
