Kooness is an online platform that allows you to step into the fine art gallery world by providing virtual access to galleries all over the world. It is a revolutionary way to explore and collect art by buying directly from the finest art galleries. On Kooness you can find the best selection of artworks by both emerging and established artists, accurately selected by our curatorial team. To speed up and simplify the research for your favorite artworks, we introduced a new tool that allows to filter through different categories and tags. Kooness will shake up the art world by attracting new collectors with the use of the most advanced technologies in order to enjoy art even more.

Our team is composed by young and talented professionals whose aim is to democratize the access to the art world. Following the increasing demand of a new generation of collectors, we strongly believe in the idea of art democratization. With high ambitions, our final aim is to build respectful and trustful relationships with our clients by offering them the best service and total transparency at all times. Our collaborative team features experts with diverse backgrounds, working to build new ways to discover, appreciate and encourage the proliferation of art. We are not a company looking to go global. Lorenzo Uggeri

Founder & CEO

Lorenzo is the founder and CEO of Kooness and was featured among the Forbes 30 Under 30 for the Retail and E-Commerce section. He is a young experienced entrepreneur with a professional background as a business analyst and a strong passion for art collection. By examining the growing opportunities in the online art market, he decided to acquire an in-depth knowledge of contemporary art dynamics at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York. With his strong ambition of democratizing the art world and opening galleries’ doors to a new global audience, Lorenzo implemented Kooness business plan, thus combining his passion for the contemporary art world with the one for online technologies. He earned a BSc in Economics and Management and a master’s degree in Economics and Management of Innovations and Technologies from Bocconi University.

Alice Cavagna


Alice is the COO of Kooness. Her aim is to design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures as well as setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth. She oversees daily operations and leads the team to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Over the years, the art market has seen a progressive disruption, shifting towards more digital and innovative business models. Alice has built an extensive knowledge of the digitalization of the art market especially due to her previous work experience at Artsy: a pioneer in the digital art market. She graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Economics and Management in Arts from Bocconi University, Milan and she has benefited greatly from studying and working in diverse international settings such as Sydney, Tel Aviv and London.

Davide Rizzi


Davide Rizzi is the SEO Expert of Kooness and he is responsible for driving organic traffic to the website. Davide is a veteran of creating and managing SEO strategies across multiple industries. Davide’s academic background includes a master’s degree in International Marketing Management and he is also a PMI Agile Certified Practicioner. Davide doesn’t believe in magic, yet he strives to combine data and creativity when crafting a remarkable SEO strategy.

Giulia Cami

Gallery Liaison & Content Coordinator

As Kooness Gallery Liaison, her role is to foster active relationships with the leading galleries, taking care of their needs and helping them to use the platform in the best way. Giulia is also in charge of the online magazine and her responsibilities include writing articles, fact-checking and optimizing contributors’ editorials. Her aim is to increase user engagement by proofreading and editing written pieces. Moreover, she manages the social media pages, updating them with daily new content. Giulia graduated from Bocconi University in Milan and from Copenhagen Business School with a Master Double Degree in Art Business, an academic path that allowed her to develop an attentive and precise mindset. Giulia’s prior experiences in working for blue chip galleries provided her with an in-depth knowledge of the contemporary art market and of the managing and artistic complexities concerning such an interesting and dynamic environment.

Eleonora Piva

Gallery Partnerships

Eleonora is the Gallery Partnerships at Kooness. As a part of the Sales team, her role focuses on generating new gallery prospects and evaluating fruitful partnership opportunities. Her primary responsibilities include discovering and identifying new galleries worldwide and qualifying leads by adding and tracking their activity on a daily basis. She graduated with a master’s degree in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and first pursued a BSc in Economics and Business at LUISS Guido Carli University, with a one-year specialisation in the marketing and management areas. Throughout her work experiences, Eleonora acquired a solid knowledge of the contemporary art market and effectively succeeded in combining her business background with her passion for the art sector. Having worked for a blue-chip gallery and a leading art publisher in London had been instrumental for her to develop a sense of business acumen and commercial awareness that is so unique to the art industry.

Working on the Gallery Partnerships team presents a unique opportunity to build an online resource for the art world. Galleries are a fundamental and strategic asset for reaching Kooness’s business goals and for fostering the exponential growth of the platform.

The Gallery Partnerships Associate will focus on generating new leads and closing new, global- scale partnership agreements.

The ideal candidate is a highly effective and compelling communicator, has experience using Salesforce and working in a sales team environment, and is comfortable managing and analyzing large data sets. Experience in the commercial art world is beneficial and fluency in English, French, Spanish and/or German is a major plus.
