Art Madrid will take place from the 6th to the 10th of March in the city of Madrid. This year the fair is celebrating its 19th century in the Galeria de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles. Every year it has a more significant international presence and attracts a great number of visitors. This year to celebrate the 19th anniversary, Art Madrid presents its General Gallery Program as well as exciting news about the Parallel Program. Both initiatives aim to enrich the presence of an event that has already surpassed its satellite season, establishing itself in each edition as a reference point on the agenda of both the general and specialized public.The Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles offers a unique environment that enhances the appreciation of contemporary art, enrich the experience of every visitor. 

36 carefully selected international galleries will participate in Art Madrid 2024. The proposals, characterized by experimentation and the plurality of aesthetic discourses, will transform the space into an open window to the most cutting-edge artistic trends. The galleries present in the fair will exhibit the production developed by their artists over the part year, a period dedicated to research and experimentation with new aesthetic codes. Throughout the fair, visitors will be able to see how the artists’ creative results are redefining the cultural landscape and positioning themselves in the dynamic ever changing art market. Art Madrid is famous for  the vitality of its previous editions, enhancing and giving space to emerging art and structuring an open and transversal fair proposal that gives voice to the most pressing issues of our context.

This year, 25 Spanish galleries will participate in this new edition, two of them for the first time. Continuity and novelty intertwine to show the richness of the Spanish artistic landscape. Here you can find the list of the showcasing galleries: CLC ARTE (Valencia) and La Mercería (Valencia) participating for the first time. Returning to Art Madrid 2024 are: 3 Punts (Barcelona), Alba Cabrera (Valencia), Arancha Osoro (Oviedo), Arma Gallery (Madrid), Aurora Vigil-Escalera (Gijón), BAT Alberto Cornejo (Madrid), Bea Villamarín (Gijón), DDR (Madrid), Dr. Robot (Valencia), Espiral (Noja), Flecha (Madrid), Hispánica Contemporánea (Madrid/CDMX), Inéditad Gallery (Barcelona), Kur Art Gallery (San Sebastián), La Aurora (Murcia), Luisa Pita (Santiago de Compostela), Metro (Santiago de Compostela), MoretArt (A Coruña), OOA Gallery (Sitges/London), Pigment Gallery (Barcelona/Paris), Rodrigo Juarranz (Aranda de Duero), Shiras Galería (Valencia), and Uxval Gochez (Barcelona).

The international galleries participating are 11. They are essentials as they create and expand a cultural dialogue inside the fair. The galleries are: Collage Habana (La Habana, Cuba), Galleria Stefano Forni (Bologna, Italy), Nuno Sacramento Arte Contemporânea (Ílhavo, Portugal), Sâo Mamede (Lisbon, Portugal), Trema Arte Contemporânea (Lisbon, Portugal), and Yiri Arts (Taipei, Taiwan).

Five of them join the fair for the first time, enriching the experience with new proposals and perspectives.These are: Banditrazos Gallery (Seoul, South Korea), Galerie One (Paris, France), Gallery Tableau (Seoul, South Korea), Kleur Gallery (Santiago de Chile, Chile), and Loo & Lou Gallery (Paris, France), will bring a fresh and diverse perspective to Art Madrid as an international meeting point.

Art Madrid 2024, introduces an extensive Parallel Programme featuring diverse activities leading up to and during the 19th edition of the fair at the Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles. Among the highlights is the debut of Open Booth, a space dedicated to emerging artists, showcasing Marina Tellme's installation "Meeting of very important people." The performance series 'Intercesiones X TARA FOR WOMEN' explores the concept of intercession, featuring works by four emerging artists in performative practices. Cultural mediation initiative "Lecturas. Recorridos comisariados" aims to engage the public with gallery exhibitions at Art Madrid 2024, with contributions from cultural disseminator Eugenia Tenembaum and curator Óscar Manrique. "La Quedada" is another initiative, offering a preview of the fair by visiting studios of five participating artists. The X ONE SHOT COLLECTORS Collecting Programme, sponsored by One Shot Hotels, returns, offering art acquisition advisory services led by Ana Suárez Gisbert. The Curated Interview Section, hosted by cultural journalist Carlos del Amor, will bring engaging discussions in this edition.

Art Madrid is an international fair promoting artists both at a national and international level. Its mission is to promote the art market and enhance art collecting contributing to the dynamic week that takes place in the city of Madrid. The fair is characterized by its innovative and transversal character, being open to everyone who is interested in exploring contemporary art.
