A skilled wanderer of the human mystery. She lives and works in Tuscany and has been pursuing her research in photography for more than thirty years. She has been awarded international prizes and exhibited in Florence, Rome, Paris, New York, Athens, and Djerba.
Nicoletta Cantore is a photographer from Udine, Italy. During the 80’s she moved to Tuscany where she works with neuropsychology and communication.
In her travels, the artist has always tried to look and comprehend the complexity of their personalities, by doing so she tries to represent their world through photographs. Most of the time she chooses to represent these people without showing their faces, so that it is possible for the viewer to understand their stories.

Nicoletta Cantore nasce a Udine nel 1959, dai primi anni 80 si sposta in toscana per occuparsi di linguaggio e comunicazione. Nei suoi innumerevoli viaggi , esperienze e percorsi, l’artista si e’ posta sempre in atteggiamento di ascolto e ricerca, immergendosi nella voce dei popoli ed in essi cercando le svariate facce della sua stessa complessa personalita’. Un richiamo così lontano dal sapore antico, originario e profondamente diverso dalla sua cultura di origine, ha lasciato nella sua anima un segno indelebile.
