The starting point for Moritz Hasse's paintings are street photographs that he has been collected with his camera for years in the metropolises of the world. He's looking for one image type that consciously follows a view shaped by photography and film and situations reflects that are typical of our everyday world. Moritz Hasse travels the world and collects impressions of Milan, Rome, Lisbon. He spans the arc from Berlin via Moscow to New York.
