Clara Brasca was born in Milan, where she lives and works.
She graduated from the Liceo Artistico di Brera and obtained a degree in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano.
Her art is centered almost exclusively on oil painting on linen, according to the oldest techniques to "veiling", because it is not so much the novelty of the medium to be important, as a new thought with respect to the chosen language.
The problem of light and its representation is a focal point of his research, which is developed through the use of non-naturalistic colors and complementary colors.
The subjects and themes of her works range from the figure, to landscape, to still life; therefore in a "classical" (not neoclassical) tradition, she is convinced that classical thought runs through the entire history of Western culture like a red thread and that by developing this thought it is possible to create contemporary works beyond all the ephemeral fashions of the moment.
