Carlos Parra was born in the Hacienda "La Laguna" (Baeza, Jaén) in a rich family of olive growers, where, together with the other 3 brothers, he studied primary education thanks to a private teacher at their Hacienda, until now he came to study the Baccalaureate, and his father sent him an intern at the Baeza Institute. At the age of 4 he made his first drawing, figures of his imagination, which turned out to be similar to a fish without ever having seen one before. From then on, he interpreted what he saw and put it in the drawings, despite his father's fierce opposition.
