Mauro Bellucci was born in Voghera (PV), Italy. Graduated in Japanese lexicography, he practiced for several years the art of calligraphy from the Far East. Focusing on Japanese culture, Bellucci's artwork is a balanced mixture of the previous Oriental experiences with personal and Western taste. The technique used for his artworks is the collage on canvas or iron and wood, divided into various types of use of the basic materials, Nepali handmade paper and Japanese sumi ink.
