In painting, he works mainly with a knife. He works in oil, acrylic and he is particularly fond of mixed techniques. His style is often non-figurative. He likes colour and matter. He particularly appreciates the painters Gustav Klimt and Pierre Soulages. He is self-taught but he stays abroad (Germany, Guinea Conakry, Comoros), and his travels, allowed him to meet, and sometimes work, with very different artists like Irina Condé (Russian painter), Modali (Comorian painter). He also drew very early on and his scientific studies reinforced this taste for the representation of fauna and flora. Then, the meeting of authors, storytellers, musicians and his job as a teacher, led him to become an illustrator/author for children and a songwriter. In drawing, he particularly appreciates sanguine and inks.
