I am a "Baby Painter", a pure autodidact, I am 58 years old, I discovered late, 3 years ago, on a whim, the joys of painting. Painting has become my 3rd lung.. I don't have a conventional biography, nor a classic, standardized, identified pictorial history to offer... On the other hand, I have three years of passionate painting... I don't know. still the origin: I have never painted or drawn in my life. I never expressed any motivation to become a painter. One fine day, this new passion came out of nowhere, as if by magic, from a magician's hat. I attribute the origin to my self-hypnosis sessions...
I am not the painter who executes, finishes his canvases. I do not respect the proportions, nor the perspectives, I do not install any shadow on my canvases (I don't like it, I find it dirty). I don't really have a method... On the other hand, I am someone who paints by instinct, who paints out of passion, who puts his emotions and his colors on a canvas frame to work on them with a knife, a foam roller, then with a brush... I have a lively, quick line, without any hesitation whatsoever. My most beautiful canvases are born, at the end of the session, from an overflow of paint on the palette, not to be wasted...A blank canvas or one that I recycle and I then work, colors and pigments, like cob, to give birth to a figurine of my mind. This is how I still see my work as a painter today.
In September 2019, I joined a Fine Arts Workshop of the city of Paris (Les ABA). I then joined the course of Alberto Cont. The meeting with Alberto is most striking. He then installs me on a real boulevard, that of artistic creation, self-expression through work and the language of colors. In three years of painting, I have not yet found my favorite territory, but I have found my style, halfway between abstract and figurative art. I am a free painter, who paints what he wants, when he has decided to do it. However, I learned to theme my creations. Today I am working on an exhibition trilogy: THE GIRL (it was born in District 11, via Panam_Art: a real success), SOPRANO and SPARTIATE..
Without any hesitation on my part, I can affirm that I am a painter in the making. The adventure is not ready to stop, I have a weekly or even daily production, I plan to break through and realize myself on ambitious projects.
