Biography Maite Canto Equisoain (1973), graduated in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country, majoring in Design (1998), and Master in New Technologies Applied to Design, lives between the cities of Vitoria and Pamplona, establishing her studies in the latter. In his career as a designer, he has worked for large companies such as Euskaltel or Gas Natural, NGOs such as Anesvad, and public authorities. She has also led campaigns against gender-based violence in the catering environment, in the Basque Country. His work evolves from painting to the three-dimensional world of sculpture with a strong influence due to his discipline in the world of design. The work, mostly monochromatic, enhances the power of forms and movement, focusing on the transmission of real feelings through them as visual gestures. Their shapes correspond to their definition. Round concentric or in apparently fragile layers sweet and aggressive in turn. Bird's nest, swarm, grass, branches, neural connections, intertwined waves, hollow flower... It is the viewer's brain that is based on knowledge and memories of their experiences.
