Artist: "My work mainly, through painting, consists of capturing urban architecture on canvas, old shop facades with the aim of transmitting and making known to future generations how they lived and how their ancestors related, how was the architecture of its commercial facades and, as a second objective, to raise awareness among urban planning politicians about the need to preserve these facades, which would serve to awaken the memory of their past. Through my work I try to give life to these places, which in many cases have already disappeared, show their secrets, rekindle the collective memory they contain to build a portrait of a society and a time."
