I know that I do not bring any new revolutionary style of painting, I am not looking for the mood of my paintings in the dynamics of painting, structure, symbols or internal statements. But I try to capture reality as faithfully as possible in realistic still lifes and detailed views of the surrounding nature. My images are understandable at first glance, which may or may not be good. But I firmly believe that, especially in today´s difficult times, for some of us they could be at least a momentary pleasure of the reality of everyday life. If I should highlight some of my paintings, I would like to mention my paintings with glass motifs. I´m a self-taught painter and although I started painting only a few years ago and I haven´t taken any art course, my work has already earned several awards. I was very pleased with second place in the international competition of eight European countries European Art Awards 2016, where the expert jury selected from more than 240 paintings. However, I value the success most at the international art fair ARTFEST 2017 in České Budějovice, where I won the main prize in the competition of 120 artists from several countries. I have had dozens of solo exhibitions, I cooperate with several art galleries and with interior designers. P.S. A question for people who also paint:"Do you also have that beautifully strange feeling - perhaps excitement, caution, maybe even impatience - when you pick up that still blank canvas?"
