Luigi Boccia has always had a strong inclination for the visual arts, he does not only like to call himself a photographer but also a communicator, as there is always a story to tell in his images. He has approached food photography for the love of food and for all the connections it brings with it. For him to photograph it is to tell an emotion with a unique style, giving the image its own DNA, not only commercially but also emotionally and socially, studying its anthropology and all the history that unites food and man. His works are born and grow based on the creations he portrays, as food is something artistic and as such must be treated, since before taste the visual part must be stimulated, a very important added value. To give your best, however, you need to know what you immortalize: that's why you continue day after day to study the past, present and future of something that has always been part of our lives. Dark mood has become its hallmark, with which it draws out the soul to something that apparently does not have it, shaping the light creatively in all its theatricality. Today he is the creator of "Cibografia Italia", an ambitious project that tells through his photographs a story made of all Italian traditions, with particular attention to small producers who with love and passion, make our products a pride known throughout the world. He is also co-founder with Stefania Fracasso of the "TripFood" project, a photographic journey through the restaurants scattered throughout our country, to discover one of the most important treasures of our culture: regional cuisine.
