Sonia Almaguer is a Cuban artist who through her images seeks to capture moments that barely last seconds before the eyes, everyday peculiarities with an arsenal of legacy related to stories, places and customs, which will allow my successors to learn more about their ancestors. This is how I created the photographic series Pasaporte Santiago, Como antes and Callejeros musicals.
The artist also made Havana, details which is a tribute to this city, its wonderful architecture and decorative details that sometimes go unnoticed by walkers, modern life cancels the perception of seeing and enjoying the whims that architects, cabinetmakers, blacksmiths, built in such remote times with techniques and styles that managed to reach our days.
