Education - Genna graduated from the Faculty of Control and Applied Mathematics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1978 with a degree in Simulation Models.

In 2019-2021, he developed a new art style "Chatoyant de Genna", which is the result of the implementation of one of the typologies of simulation models, namely the "Event-Oriented Simulation Models", thus defining a set of elements that artistically represents the rainbow as a real event and phenomenon.

The creation of a world of light and harmony is the central idea of the work of the artist, and the style of "Chatoyant de Genna" allows us to visualize figurative and artistically the rainbow phenomenon in his abstract geometric compositions with bright elements and recharges us with feelings of joy, protection and hope, that nature communicates to us through the occurrence of this phenomenon.

New Style Of Paintings "Chatoyant De Genna"

As in nature, so it happens that after a recent raging storm, a rainbow appears in the gaps of the sunny blue sky.  With this appearance, nature in its own way announces that this bad weather has been endured, and that good weather is coming. That is, the rainbow is that natural image that evokes in us feelings of protection against bad weather and the restoration of well-being and prosperity.

Creating such images in his paintings is the main motive of the works of GENNA. And the “Chatoyant de Genna” style is based on the characteristics of this beautiful phenomenon of the nature.

A special concept of colors is applied to the elements of the compositions. The gamma of it consists precisely of the seven colors of the rainbow. In addition, harmony in the construction of compositions is also achieved by the fact that the color elements in them are located in the same harmonious order in which they are present in the rainbow. The shape of the elements is chosen on the basis that it enhances this harmony.

In addition, the elements themselves are made with acrylic paint on a thick, primed cotton canvas. The paint colour for each element is chosen strictly based on the mentioned concept. On top of the painting, the elements are covered with special pencils of the same colour as the paint, but in a lighter tone. This makes the elements begin to shine each in its own tune.

Compositions of paintings composed of such luminous elements produce the same iridescent shimmer as those of precious stones, which is called the French word "Chatoyant".

As a result, paintings that have such a brilliant shine of "Chatoyant" combined with an iridescent harmony in the construction of the compositions produce a relaxing effect, as well as being internally and intuitively urged with a positive feeling of protection in the face of adversity and hope of wellness.

In the language of the Naga tribes in India, there is the word "Genna", the essence of which is protection against the blows of fate and the restoration of prosperity. Thus, this word "Genna" in a broader sense expresses the main motive of presented artist's works. It also turns out that it is also part of his name, so, in this double sense, it is used as an artistic pseudonym to sign paintings, and it is also present in the name of his artistic style.

This is how these paintings are created, made in the style of "Chatoyant de Genna", which allows us to visualize the rainbow figuratively and artistically and what nature tells us through its appearance.
