Born in Metz, I grew up in Seine Saint-Denis, from Montfermeil to Gagny, via Pantin then Bobigny. I quickly immersed myself in an artistic universe thanks to my chance encounter with the Danish painters Jan and Johannes Sivertsen. Seeing them paint made me want to pick up brushes and I allowed myself to create without having studied art.
From the start, the shapes I paint are abstract and on Canson sheets. Colors become shapes and vice versa. The colors are those of my inner reality which become palpable. I work with the pictorial material that I knead, shape and deform.
By dint of experience, I ended up buying canvases, grabbing my brushes and knives to work the material, painting is not only a flat surface, it is also relief. Thus the viewer can climb it with his eyes.
I kept these paintings for a long time without exhibiting them. Then I started to share my painting on my Instagram account “The Sunday Painter”. It was the right time, it was not a matter of chance because "There is no chance, there are only appointments" Paul Éluard. My appointment with painting was born! My shapes, my curves, my colors, my scratches do not cross by chance either. The meaning of my paintings reveal themselves like the landscape at Stendhal, walking on the edge of the path of oneself. My artistic interests are rocked by the work of Monet, Delaunay, Munch, Kandinsky, Klein, Joan Mitchell…
