One Arts Club brings to Italy for the first time the works of CB HOYO, with the solo exhibition Fake like Judas.
ONE ARTS CLUB is a Members’ club & online art gallery of the new generation that aims to keep art fresh by organizing one-of-a-kind live art events globally.
CB Hoyo was born in 1995 in Havana, Cuba. At a young age, he immigrated to the Dominican Republic, and Now he lives and works in Belgium. A self-trained artist, CB Hoyo continually produces works that celebrate life itself. Fresh, colorful, and fun are three words that easily describe his creations. Working with any medium on any material, the artist uses a mixture of art historical trends but always incorporates his unique voice.
CB HOYO, with his series of "New Fakes", refers to masterpieces of the past, revisited with his ironic touch and upset the art establishment, satirizing on concepts such as the authenticity of works or their economic evaluation.
They are a chance to think about the modern society, surrounded by fiction and characterized by giving value to things, news or artworks that are, precisely, fakes:
