OTTO Gallery opens its doors in July 2016 with a joint exhibition with the gallery Jorge Mara - La Ruche by the artist Carlos Arnaiz. It was precisely in the gallery of Jorge Mara where Eugenio Ottolenghi, director of OTTO Galería, started and trained as a gallerist. Within the motivations or ideas that concluded at the opening of OTTO Gallery, was to put the accent on artists who work with the most contemporary traits of traditional disciplines, with genres of clear definition such as abstraction, landscape, Still life, lyrical abstraction and collage or sculpture. That is to say, artists linked to the tradition of modern art but with a strong feature of contemporaneity, who are attached to a solid tradition of traditional disciplines. The staff of artists in our gallery aims to have a balance between novice artists, medium career and consecrated. For the selection of them, the opinion of personalities from the art world is taken into account, to which we respect and listen, such as Eduardo Stupía (great motivator for the opening of OTTO); Jorge Mara; Carlos Arnaiz and Juan Lecuona among others.
