Contemporary Art Gallery Espacio Marzana

Espacio Marzana was inaugurated in November 2002 in Bilbao and is located on the Marzana quay, very close to the Bilbao Arte contemporary art center. That same year, the gallery received the first prize of the New Companies contest of the Bilbao City Council. Since its inception, the gallery has focused its programming on the promotion of new emerging artistic proposals, without forgetting the consolidated artists. This line of action has allowed artists from the gallery to be represented in collections of museums such as the Artium in Vitoria, the Ordóñez Falcó Foundation, the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao as well as in different private collections. Espacio Marzana participated as an emerging gallery with the express invitation of the organization in Dfoto 2005.
