Contemporary Art Galleries Adora Calvo

The Adora Calvo Gallery was founded in Madrid in 1992. Later the gallery moved in 2004 to Salamanca in Calle San Pablo, 66. Finally, in April 2013, it moved to Calle Arco, 11 (Salamanca). One of the fundamental axes of the project of the gallery is the visualization of the formal and conceptual genealogies that have taken place in the Spanish context between the new generations of artists and their predecessors. In that sense, the gallery is especially interested in the connection between the main artists of conceptualism and Spanish minimalism and the new emerging artists who are generating their own reformulations of these artistic movements.
