  • About the Gallery

The Baudelaire Gallery is specialized in international contemporary photography. It was created in 2002 by Henrik Barends and Anneke Pijnappel. The Baudelaire Gallery also has a graphic studio. Their photographs are chosen for their surprising feeling, for an intriguing element that irritates or touches the viewer. These choices are all following the art criticism writings of Charles Baudelaire. The gallery represents artists from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Belgium and France; we count between them Diana Blok, Rommert Boonstra, Marlo Broekmans, Peter Day, Martijn Doolaard, Winfred Evers, Jan Eyskens, Paul Fleming, Winnifred Limbourg, Paul Overdijk, Adam Popo, Rudo Prekop, William Ropp, Schilte & Portielje, Vasil Stanko, Tono Stano, Rob Steenhorst, Miro Svolik, Michel Szulc Krzyzanowski, Nadine Tasseel, Barbara de Vries, Vladimir Zidlicky, Steef Zoetmulder, Peter Zupnik.
