Home Shows Toys, Decoys & Aggregated Myths

Join us on Thursday, May 25th, from 5 – 8 pm, for the opening of George Oswalt's thought-provoking exhibition Toys, Decoys & Aggregated Myths.  Oklahoma native, George Oswalt's, new series is a Proustian inquiry into living in a hybrid world of fiction and questionable realities. His paintings are derived from personal experience in the gestalt environment of popular culture and use of color and imagery to explore our current milieu. George says, "We have compressed time into a million data points, and the new paintings are visual poems depicting beauty, yearning, time, and space."
