In his travels to different parts of the world, Ensrud would paint the views he observed.  He carried his easel, canvas and paints to a particular location, at times painting from day into evening. Ensrud is a prolific painter of wine-oriented images for vineyards and chateaux, restaurants, bistros and cafes, wine bottles and labels, and much more.  In fact, he has been given the title, “Artist to the Wine World” by Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Ensrud’s still life painting evokes mood and sensation with a timeless quality.
