Harp Seal - Newborn

Robert Wyland (b. 1956) “Harp Seal – Newborn” (1984) is a limited edition offset lithograph in color with original watercolor remarque by the California/Hawaii based artist.  The work of art features Wyland’s signature in four places: In the plate with copyright mark and date of 1984;  numbered 144/300 (lower left)  and signed (lower right) in silver marker; signed and dated 1988 in pencil beneath the remarque; and signed/dated (1988) on the glass in the lower right with an inscription that reads, “For Laurie and Steve – Wyland 88”.  The image measures 15.5 x 19.5 inches; the sheet is 20 x 24 inches, and with mat/frame/glass, it is 25.5 x 29 inches.  The Provenance is the Wyland Galleries and a Certificate of Authenticity from Wyland is included.
