Patrick Cambolin was born in 1947.
 
He graduated in Graphic Arts and Plastic Arts, and has been working in the field of communication. He worked as an artistic director and then as a creative director in large French and foreign agencies in Paris.

At the same time, he devotes himself to a personal research on the concept: horizontality/verticality.
Lines, colors, materials and traces are born. The sober and structured compositions reveal a rigor, a very strong colorful emotion.
A reflection on time and space

Whatever the time, the artist is led to fully solicit the 3 components of his being: the body, the mind and the soul.
The body being the basis of everything, it is an interaction between the inner world of the artist and all that the external world can offer him of substances and inspiration.
By a transcription and a choice of forms, materials, colors, words, images.

Currently and since 2011, Patrick Cambolin lives in Beaune (Burgundy) and in Sardinia (Italy).
