Nicola Nunziati, was born in Pistoia in 1986. After classical studies, he continued his journey into the workshops of other painters to grasp the nuances, experiment and refine his technique. Over the years, the style, often changing, still leads him to search for the face, the portrait as a maximum expression, figurative and expressive. 

The subjects are the real ones, from everyday life to photography or the web, preferring those unusual individuals, sometimes unwelcome, to the eye and to the mind, like the series of “Serial Killers” with serial pictures, where the names of the characters are replaced those of colors, a sharp contrast that wants to lead to dwell on what is the beauty and the definition that results, in a world of stereotypes, artificial or only superficial beauties. 

Attention to portraiture continues in a series of well-known personalities, painters, singers, and artists, a way like any other to call to mind a culture that often goes too fast, images such as the so-called “profile picture”, of artistic thickness in the specific case, so as not to dwell only on a name or an appearance, beautiful or ugly. The aim is to investigate more deeply about the subject we face and the perception of ourselves, because too often we limit ourselves to judging without knowing. During his career he has exhibited in Florence, Siena, Pisa, Bologna and Pistoia where he lives and works.
