Michael Afsa is an Arizona based artist who creates three-dimensional and graphic works inspired by the architecture and landscapes of the American Southwest. He uses common construction materials such as plywood, wall textures, and latex paint to create minimalist wall sculptures.
Michael earned his BFA from CalArts and is a Wasserman Foundation Grant Recipient. He has created commissioned work for many corporate clients including Google, and his work is in the collections of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Royal Caribbean International, and Ritz Carlton. His work exhibits across the US and is in numerous private collections. He lives and works in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and three children.
