Born in Rome in 1963, he attended the "Istituto d'Arte" and the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. He's active in various fields of visual art, especially in painting, interior decoration and set design. In 1992 he opened an atelier in Trastevere (Vicolo del Cinque 13, Rome), together with Anna Retico. He also teaches various painting techniques. He has always painted records of travels and of daily life, and in 2013 he opened the page "quelchevale" where he posts pages of his painted diaries.
