This artwork integrates the "Fragmented Fads" exhibtion. The characters featured by the artist show that personalities are above fads. Personalities are timeless and unique. Lu Mourelle gives life to fictional characters and looks while questioning the beauty and symmetry expected by the media and the public. The combination of strong and vibrant colors draws attention, especially when compared to the requirements of the different four seasons, often subverting the standards established for each one.The exhibition sets the tone and colour. Each person is responsible for their own fashion and has a unique style. The exhibition is also a tribute to stylists and fashion illustrators who were so present in the artist's journey. Lu Mourelle's artworks integrate private and public collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Belgium, France, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, China, Japan, and South Korea.

The work of Lu Mourelle is the result of the emotional baggage of the artist, who since childhood alternates residence between Brazil, where she was born, and Europe. Accustomed early to integrate plural and diverse societies, Lu Mourelle dedicated herself to the world of fashion before fully embracing the Fine Arts. From the studies of painting and from all this experience of life, the representation of women who are different and rich in personality and emotion, characters of atypical and contemporary beauty, is born.
Lu Mourelle counts exhibitions in countries of South America, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Austria and others. Member of the National Society of Fine Arts of Lisbon, the artist continues her research to formulate compositions of color allied to the original traits and multiple countenances. Lu Mourelle starts from deconstruction to strengthen faces and expression-laden looks. They are idealized and at the same time subjective figures, who transform the experience of the public into the contemplation of the feminine.
