Majestic Sky of Oklahoma is an oil painting representing the summer droughts. On the horizon of the landscape are two suggestive vertical poles that mysteriously appear below large foreboding clouds of burnt umber and burnt sienna hues* The constant exposure from the sun and lack of rain give the sky and terrain a mood of isolation and a feeling of being dirt-wrapped by the environment.
