"My installations are an invitation to the visitor to enter a three dimensional painting. Emerging in a piece of art, forgetting the outside world, letting go in a twilight zone, getting lost for a while in the colors, organic forms and structures, that´s what my art is about."

Structures and colours that show the viewer a cheerfully stupefying and inviting enchant. The reason of Julia Sossinka's constantly colourful work is that her colours fill her with the greatest enthusiasm. 

Sossinka studied painting with Markus Lüpertz at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and was appointed his master student in 2008
Through her unmistakable love of painting, colours and the painting technique impasto, the very thick application of paint, Julia Sossinka has managed to convey something mesmerizing. She has manage to let her work spring from the canvas. It is thanks to her many layers of material, which make her oil works seem deep and almost in relief, that painting becomes haptically tangible for the viewer. 
Dynamic and jerky movements, which can be observed in short, offset, uneven and colourful stripes, exert a further fascination on the admirer in addition to all the above.
