She obtained several degrees in visual arts in Korea, then her attraction for the French culture and language led her to continue her training in Paris, where she settled in January 2003. In 2011, Kyung-Ae had her first solo exhibition in Paris. Since then, she has been exhibited regularly and has participated in many exhibitions in Europe and Asia. She is attached to the young generation of the Dansaekhwa movement and is gaining more and more international recognition.
