My drawings are all made with pen and ink. I use a stroke technique in which short and long lines cross, condense and run out. I find my inspiration, among other things, in my work as an archaeologist, through classical works of antiquity, which have shaped my aesthetic sensibility and understanding of art. Harmonies, light, movement and also tranquillity determine my way of working and find expression in the resulting works.
