AD-Reflex are an international-award-winning collaborative duo, consisting of South African artists Johan Conradie and KarlGustav Sevenster.
AD-Reflex’s work combines complicated techniques and processes including oil painting, digital photography, photo-manipulation software techniques, Swarovski crystals and the physical freezing of objects in ice, which are then re-photographed in a studio. Their work is about duality and unexpected juxtapositions of beauty and decay.
AD-Reflex have exhibited in Tokyo (Japan); Cape Town, Johannesburg & Pretoria (South Africa); Miami, New York City (USA).
