Yam, whose real name is Fanie Hocher, is a self-taught illustrator and painter.
From an early age she was asked to work on her interest in the visual arts, and is passionate about comics and children's books, and often works on creating new characters from her multiple imaginary worlds.
Yam is a Swiss Army knife artist, no medium or technique is better than another: posca, alcohol markers, acrylic paints or even colored pencils are all used.
At work, Yam likes to introduce children to the benefits of art therapy and teach them different artistic techniques in the form of attractive games.
Recently, Yam has been trying his hand at painting, particularly on the theme of the sea, by creating a series of marine views in different formats.
Yam lives and works in the Paris region (Haut de Seine)
