Her works are characterised by intense colors, manifold meanings and structural depth. In her intuitive artistic process, Krobs prefers working with acrylics or mixed media on canvas, using spatulas, brushes, spray bottles, sponges and her hands to create engaging surfaces, shapes and textures. Time and time again, the canvas turns into her very own laboratory for discovering the new and unprecedented.
In her creative process, Veronika Krobs follows different styles whilst working in series such as the WHITE-Series, BLOSSOM & BALLS-Series or META-Series within her abstract-expressive line. Bas-relief surfaces invite the viewer to rediscover new structures over and over again. The unique POP-SMART style with its sweeping and lively brushstrokes, its inspiring shapes and its bright color contrasts marks another very typical style of Veronika Krobs.
Veronika Krobs has attended numerous exhibitions, art shows, art fairs and art residencies nationally as well as internationally. Her works can be found, e.g. Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Sweden, United Kingdom, Australia, China, US.
