Sonja Quarone was born in Vigevano in 1972. Attended the Liceo Artistico of Novara, she ends the studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera where professors such as the conceptual artist Vincenzo Ferrari and the visual poet Ugo Carrega greatly influence her artistic and cultural training.
In 2008 the Artistic Direction of the Museo della Permanente in Milan puts her among its members artists. The body is the subject that inspires her work and attests the processes of evolutionary change in the path of artistic growth.
Art, design and architecture characterize the life of Sonja Quarone. The assiduous collaboration with prestigious companies close to design and decoration allow it to experiment continuously new materials while the experience of many trips to distant worlds stimulate strongly her artistic fantasy.
Recently she conducted some workshops on technique and application of new materials in art and in architecture at the Accademia di Brera and the Polytechnic of Milan.
Sonja Quarone currently lives and works in Vigevano (Pavia).
