Robin Decourcy is a performer, choreographer and visual artist, creator of Trek Danse.

He studied at the Villa Arson and at the Beaux Arts in Mexico DF. In Nice, he set up an alternative art place called Désappartement and later an association of walking artists around the Mediterranean.

His practice in situ, has changed during his travels in China, Mexico, Latin America and South America.

His meeting with Paul Mc Carthy, Julyen Hamilton, Lisa Nelson, John Giorno, Yvonne Rainer and various creators of the Fluxus movement led him to integrate improvisation and score techniques in real time, practices that he now teaches in different ways. shapes.

He works in structures dedicated to dance as a choreographer and performer and also continues to exhibit his plastic work in galleries and art centers.

Engaged in practices aimed at mixing or disrupting certain artistic disciplines, his work underpins an ecological and social approach. Influenced by land-art, the 90's techno scene, root peoples and nomadic lifestyles, Robin Decourcy applies different alternatives of community and creative lives in the form of long-term artistic projects, and by combining micro processes. -politics with the performing arts. His artistic actions take the form of experiences to be shared in public: games, internships, conferences, laboratories, stays ... which question the norms of social organization by modifying certain uses of professional techniques, health, economy or entertainment. He cooperates with many artists, composers, videographers, educators as well as practitioners and researchers in anthropology and holistic therapy.
