Pascual has painted several portraits of current personalities and historical, literary, entertainment, and comic characters and those portraits that he has made both on canvas and on original 1888 Panama Canal Bonds have been given as gifts to various dignitaries including King Philip of Belgium. (in 2009 Prince when he visited Panama), to President Obama (June 2011) to the Queen of England, Elizabeth II (February 2012), to the President of Costa Rica Mrs. Laura Chinchilla (2014), to His Holiness Pope Francis (Sept 2014) and the Kings of Spain (Sept 2014).

His mastery of various techniques, in various formats, his pictorial expression in different themes from Landscaping and Canal scenes to the most detailed portraits make Pascual Rudas one of the most promising young talents in Panama.

 

Pascual was born on March 30, 1982 in Panama City. He studied Plastic Arts at the National Plastic Arts School, graduating with first prize in 2007. He obtained his Bachelor of Plastic Arts at the ISBA (Instituto Superior de Bellas Artes de Panamá) in 2010. He has won national painting prizes and has had individual and group exhibitions in Panama. His works are found in collections in Panama, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Venezuela, Argentina, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the United States (among others the New York Stock Exchange), Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Chile, Spain, England and Japan among others.

 

Pascual got a honorable mention with his paint "Metáfora de la vida" in the XXXVII National Competition of Visual Arts by Roberto Lewis.
