Malwine Stauss (1993 in Dresden) lives and works in Leipzig. From 2013 to 2019 she studied at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig in the department of graphic design and received her diploma in the class for illustration with Prof. Thomas M. Müller. Together with three other artists she is part of the collective SQUASH. In 2019, Malwine Stauss' work was selected for the curated special exhibition Academy POSITIONS at POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair and shown during Berlin Art Week. Since then, Malwine Stauss has published two books, "The Trip" (2020) and "HEXEN" (2021), and has been featured in several exhibitions as well as interviews and podcasts. Her new publication, "Sola," will be published by Rotopol in Kassel in May 2022. She will also be a guest lecturer at the HFG Karlsruhe for the first time in 2022.
