"Committed but not militant, Jeanne Susplugas's approach takes all forms and all strategies of confinement, both to question the individual's relations with himself and with the other" - Philippe Piguet in Week 13.13.

The mediums she explores are as many vectors instructing the terms of a singular aesthetic determined by a being in the obsessive world, alternately troubled and reassured, worried and serene, solitary and accomplice.

Her work has been widely shown in places such as the KW in Berlin, the Villa Medicis in Rome, the Palazzo delle Papesse in Siena, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Fresnoy National Studio, the Museum of Modern Art in St Etienne, the Musée de Grenoble, as well as on the occasion of events such as Dublin-Contemporary, the Biennale of Alexandria and Shanghai or Nuit Blanche in Paris.

Her films have been presented at festivals such as Hors Pistes (Center Pompidou, Paris), Locarno International Festival, Miami International Festival, Les Instants Videos in Marseille or Les Rencontres Internationales Paris / Berlin / Madrid.

Articles have been devoted to her in magazines and dailies such as Art Press, Art in America, New York Times, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Flash Art, L’œil, Beaux-Arts Magazine, BT, Corona Boreal.
