  • About the Artist

Born in 1986, Renaud REINE has been drawing with his family since he was very young and made his first contact with urban cultures in the early 2000s, when, while training as a cabinetmaker and woodcarver, he began to travel around France and neighbouring countries to make his mark under his graffiti artist name HOMEK.
Since 2012, he crosses European borders to share his art in the streets and schools in disadvantaged areas, most often with children, he is also committed to offering an art workshop once a year at a reception centre near Marrakech in Morocco.
With a large number of graffiti murals to his credit, his style is evolving into a more graphic, contemporary approach.
Returning to the work of the letter, making it dynamic and abstract, with warm colours that may recall his travels or textures of noble materials such as wood.

The tears evoke the different scenes of an illustrated story.
He thus varies figurative motifs, coloured flat tints, soft gradations and the atmosphere of "tagged" walls like a sort of patchwork.

His original works are presented in galleries and auction rooms.
