Born in 1969 Ankara, Turkey, Ertürk graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1996, is the winner of the Nuri İyem Painting Competition Special Jury Award. Halil Yavuz Ertürk’s works, which can be interpreted as putting the human under a greater responsibility with the burden of gravity, stand out with the different perspective they bring to existence.
