Fumie SASAI chooses the technique called Kanshitsu-Giho (Urushi sap is applied over the object that created by layered hemp cloth) to shape her works and Nuritate shiage to finish. Her works are made by simple shapes, reminding flowers, animals and fruit. Her art is characterized by soft lines, that aroused primordial feelings.
