Cécile Bouffard is one of the three members of the Fusion collective, which publishes the lesbian epic Vnouje and is part of La Gousse which was recently in residence at White Mountain college in Marseille (August 2020).

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon in 2014, she co-founded run-space artist Pauline Perplexe in Arcueil.

In 2015, she was in residence at the Cité internationale des arts (Paris) and currently at the Villa Belleville.

She presented the solo exhibition "Why walk when you can dance" at the contemporary art center Les Capucins in Embrun in 2019, and, more recently, participated in "Friends and Neighbors", a group exhibition at High Art (June 2020).

She has notably shown her work at STUDIO BLOCK M74, (Mexico DF), at Lafayette Anticipation (Paris, 2020), at the Friche la Belle de Mai (Marseille), at La Ménagerie de Verre (Paris) in 2019, at Art Concept , Paris (2018) and Mains d'Oeuvres (Saint-Ouen, 2017).
