  • About the Artist

Born in 1995, Ava Fischbach is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts Appliqués de Duperré in Paris and of Central Saint Martins in London.

For the past two years, her plastic research has been presented in performance at the Welsh Chapel in London and at the Générateur in Gentilly.

His sculptures and installations have been shown at the Hôtel des Archives in Bordeaux, the Hôtel de la ville d'hiver in Arcachon, the Orfèvrerie in Saint-Denis, the Roue Libre art gallery in Limoges and the Art Course gallery in Strasbourg.

Her paintings have been presented at the Bassam Art Gallery in Cap Ferret and at the Espace Carré d'art gallery in Arcachon.

The textile sculptures are developed around the plant paint discovered during a research trip to India and an artistic residency in Ahmedabad in 2018 within the Samvedana association.

The plastic research of this young artist feeds on the landscapes she encounters to collect raw materials as well as sensations that she has fun painting with watercolors, to tell a space time.

This is how the city of Bordeaux recently commissioned her to paint a series of watercolors of the city to testify to these precious moments that nature tells us.

Today, sculpture, a sensual and vibrant technique, illustrates the forms of his universe by joining with painting, the sunny sea of stories that it carries.
