Born in Trento in 1962, Elisabetta Alberti began her career as a photographer, a medium she continues to work with today. which she continues to work with today. Over the last twenty years she has produced a large number of unusual images, all made using prints on large-format emulsified canvases, on which she intervenes with acrylic color and acrylic color and embroidery. Acrylic allows her to isolate the image and focus on particular the attention on particular meanings that simple photography would not allow focusing on. The embroidery, on the other hand, taken up as a means of expression typically feminine, is used to add further meanings to the photos.
