Today is the start of Zona Maco, one of Latin America’s most important contemporary art fair that brings collectors, specialists and galleries from every part of the world together in Mexico City.
This fair was founded by Zélika García in 2002, and it has established itself as one of the most notable platforms for selling, displaying, and promoting international contemporary art in the region.
This year the fair is celebrating its 13th edition from Feb. 3rd to 7th at Centro Banamex.
The fair offers proposals from more than a hundred galleries, editorials, and cultural institutions through five sections: General, New Proposals, Zona Maco Sur, Modern Art, and Design.
These proposals are solicited through a selection process led by an international committee, which is composed of renowned gallerists and specialized curators in each section.
